Rhode Island’s Public Health & Workplace Safety Act
Rhode Island’s landmark legislation was a watershed moment for the fight against tobacco when it was passed by the General Assembly in 2005. Commonly known as the “indoor smoking ban,” the full text of the bill, which you can read here, continues to be a model for anti-smoking advocates more than a decade later.
